Aurélie Righetti holds the Research Desk at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation - SDC. She is responsible for developing and implementing SDC research policy and steering SDC research promotion. She is a member of the Steering Committee of the Swiss programme for Research on Global Issues for Development – r4d. Prior to this, she was posted in Tanzania where she worked for UNICEF and at the Swiss Embassy as a Health programme officer. She holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Basel and the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute.
